For our group assignment, we’ve chose a topic which is “How People nowadays can survive without using mobile phone”. There are pros and cons of using mobile phone, the way we choose mobile phone, functions of mobile phone and also the suitable age of using mobile phone.
First of all is the pros of using mobile phone which are reminder, messaging, affordable, emergency, entertainment and convenient. For reminder, we can use notepad to remind us something by setting the date and time. For those who shy to talk, they can use messaging to contact each other. Nowadays, mobile phones are affordable, they aren’t expensive. When emergency happens, mobile phones also will help. Besides, mobile phone provides entertainment such as games for them who feel bored and the most important thing is convenient, we can travel anywhere with it and reachable.
Next is the con of using mobile phone. There are cons like strong radioactive, over budget, inappropriate stuffs, lose concentration during class and follow trends. Using too much of mobile phones will affect our health caused by strong radioactive. Besides that, when mobile phone users call and messaging too much, they will need to pay more, sometime they will over their budget and expenses. For inappropriate stuffs, youngsters like to have stuffs in their phone especially pornographic. Students that having mobile phones couldn’t concentrate in class as well and the last disadvantage which is follow trends. People will keep on following the trends, they will consume a newer mobile phone whenever they launched.
Next is the suitable age of using mobile phone. According to our research, there are no perfect ages of using mobile phone, no matter children, teenagers, parents or even old folks. This actually depends on the family. Sometimes this also depends on the variables which are, the parents’ piece of mind, teenagers activities and alsao for the children who staying with their divorced parents.
Next is How to choose a mobile phone which actually divided into age, occupation, advancement of battery, size and also the look of the mobile phones. For age, it is actually divide into youngsters, folks where youngster should use economical and affordable phones while folks can use phones that are easy to use and simple. For occupation, students are youngsters, so they should use economical and affordable phone as well. For businessmen, they should use some more advanced phone such as PDA which can help them to jot down what they need and be their partner to remind them and arrange all their business schedule. Another thing to consider is advancement of battery for choosing a phone, the battery of the phone must be able to last longer so that users don’t need to charge frequently. One way to make the battery to last longer is to switch off the back light and also adjust the brightness of the screen. For the size, some people like to choose a small mobile phone rather than carrying a bigger phone where they feel heavy and hard to carry and also the look of the mobile phones, which is one of the elements of choosing mobile phones. Some of us will carry a nicer phone instead of some undecorated phone.
For the functions of mobile phone, there are various which are wireless that can let us connect to internet without plugging any wire. Besides that, PDA which is a personal digital assistant is also useful for them who do business and also as their assistants. For MP3 player, music listening is also one of the functions which can help them who feel bored to cure their boring by listening to some musics. For Global positioning System (GPS), users can travel anywhere they want to go and don’t need to feel scared when they lost. For Games, users can play when they feel bored as well, phones can help people cure boring by playing games. Camera is important for them who want to jot down things that happen in their daily life and also thing that unforgettable. For messaging, users can send sms rather than making voicecalls which will cause a bit more expensive, Voicecall is for calling others to talk and emergency as well. Videocall (3G) is for them who making voicecalls and also looking at each other which are the caller and the receiver. Videocam is for users to record what happen with clips that contains movements and Bluetooth is for users to send file to each others without making any payment and a range within a certain length.
People can’t survive without mobile phone because they are too dependent on the phone. Once they didn’t bring phone out, they will felt themselves less one thing or accessories. According to new research commissioned by LINK, young people are almost as dependent on the phone as they are on cash.
From a online forum, a student can’t survive his mobile phone not even a single hour. He said even in class, he also uses it. He is some kind of addicted on GPRS and digit forum. This is the power of the mobile phone. He even said he is not wasting time on the phone but use it with the soul purpose of knowledge.
We are cant deny it, mobile phone is very portable. The phone can be bring anywhere just inside your pocket or bag. The phone’s functions is limited but all can be satisfied other people’s need. Some people use mobile phone’s function in different ways such as camera, emergency calls, online, video and etc,
These days cell phone has taken a major share of most people’s life.
Walking, resting, jogging, working, we are taking the phone. Now, exercises also bring along phone. Why? Because phone can instead of MP3, heart rate, watch,
Timer and etc. The functions are lot to hard to imagine is it the small little electronic have so much of entertainment.
The mobile phone is a very useful tool. The mobile phone can keep contact numbers, emails, address. It can keep as much as u can as long as the phone memory size is enough for you. All of us cant remember so much of number some more the numbers all are at least 7-8 numbers per person. You can remember one people, but not others number. In our daily life, is included many social life such as business, relatives, family and friends. All of them got their certain numbers, need remember all of them is impossible for those are busy everyday included me.
People want to use internet anywhere and anytime especially businessman. In the past time, people want to online just can use router, wireless, modem, but nowadays, mobile phone can instead of those “big accessories” and can bring around with them. It’s so convenient and most of the users are addicted to it! Nowadays got broadband package can just online in the finger tips. For businessman, they can receive email easily. They no need to run for everywhere just want to find a cyber café to online check mails.
Last, mobile phone has some unique functions such as calendar, unit converters, Bluetooth, games, reminder, calculator, code memo, recorder, and alarm clock. I think the alarm clock is the most common functions people use the mobile phone. People can save the money to buy for a big clock to put inside their room.
We really can’t deny it the mobile phone can help us a lot in our daily life. The phone is very useful when the users use in proper ways. It can become so harmful to some one if the users get addicted on it or misuse it such as porn video. People should not so addicted on the phone. Its become a disease and hurt our healthy body. If the world less this technology, mobile phone, what might be happen? What can be instead of mobile phone?
